Did you notice that there was yet another molasses disaster in Missisipi, in 1932? It was, according to the article "the only molasses disaster in history". The same number of people, 21, died in that one too. As if worrying about chemical and biological weapons, now I'm going to worry about molasses!

Wow. That's just... strange.

We were talking about it over dinner Monday night. I don't care for the taste of molasses, though I love gingerbread cookies made with it, so I was polling about what liquid would you prefer to be drowned in..
