Not perfect yet, but definitely feeling better. And, on the bright side, Critter's temperature was normal at dinnertime. Which bodes well for attending one days of classes this week. :)

Demariana came over today to hang out. She's one of my friends who can come over to visit and "help" me get work done, at the very least by providing companionship while I'm working on something. She sat in the kitchen and we talked while I unloaded/loaded the dishwasher, and then she helped me clear off the kitchen table enough to be able to eat lunch. Clam chowder and grilled cheese. Yumm. After lunch, she helped me clip coupons. I haven't done it in at least three weeks, so there were plenty to occupy both of us.

It was especially neat, because I found coupons for fresh sausage and smoked sausage, so I've got dinner for the rest of the week: Sausage gravy tonight, and Red Beans and Rice with Smoked Sausage tomorrow night. And leftovers on Friday after chess club.

Before I met Demariana at the house, I went to the post office to pick up a package from Gaucha. It's addressed to Flar, so I have to wait until I get home to pick it up.

Then I made two loan payments at the bank. The first mortgage and the equity line. The first mortgage is so late, that I also included a separate check for the late fee. If I'd been thinking, I'd have caught the amount before it printed. As it was, I put the correct loan number of the check, and put it with the check for the first mortgage behind that payment coupon, behind the check for the equity line, all folded into the payment page for the equity line. The teller applied the late fee to the wrong account, and I didn't realize the mistake until I was home. I called right away and got it straighten out, but it was annoying.

After school, Tigger helped me with the grocery shopping. Three bags, two twelve packs and $100 later....

After dinner, we watched Cats and Dogs and now it's time to read before bedtime.
