slowly making my way to bed

I read a chapter of Borrowers Afield to Tigger, and then catnapped on the couch with all the dogs. They say that having animal companions speeds recovery from illness. Call it therapy. ;)

Checked email. Nothing from Flar about how much to deposit in the personal account. He only left one signed check. But then, I can't make the deposit until after 2pm tomorrow, because I was late depositing the check to the business account today. If he says to go ahead and deposit 75% of what came in, that will be enough to pay both mortgages, a set of tuition checks and miscellaneous small bills.

Brought in the mail, but it needs sorting tomorrow. The water company finally sent out forms for auto-payment. That bill is never huge, and they give a very short period between billing and duedate. I just got the latest bill today, which is due on the 10th, for instance. So I've been impatiently awaiting the auto-pay paperwork.

I have to stay up until at least 10 before I go to sleep, to take another dose of medicine, and keep it spaced as close to 8 hours as possible. 11 would be better, as I don't want to wake up at 6 am on the weekend.

So I'm going to bed to read. I already got the dishes in the dishwasher, but I think I need to check that it's set to wash, and I have to put a load of clothes from the washer into the dryer on the way to bed.

Tomorrow, no school for Critter -- oh, that's the other reason I was in email -- okay, taken care of, bowling for me if I'm up to it, and no errands, to maximize rest. Maybe the allergist. Will ask about shots while sick.

This had a really good old Superman feel to it, and still managed to be quite fresh. In odd news, neither Flar nor I brought a book to the hotel…

  • Sick bed entertainment

I listened to this today while I sorted through a bunch of mail and processed it into Quicken. Motor Mouth, by Janet Evanovich. An unabridged…

The hydrocodone didn't make me sleepy. Which means the next dose would give me a migraine. No thanks. Meanwhile, I finished a book. Deep Storm,…
