Spicing the chili
Chili, with some spices added. I added chili, cumin, chocolate, cinnamon and bay leaves today. I like to add the spices in stages, so it doesn't get too hot.

Leaving for tutoring club now. Planning to use wi-fi at the library to catch up on reading.

I had no idea chili could be so complicated... or diverse. *shrugs*

Yours is probably the first chili I'd actually like though with all those creative spices. You rock.

Thank you. I think that's the point of a really successful chili-cookoff. Lots of different recipes, a chance to try new ideas, show off favorite ingredients.

Heh. I'm even keeping my ingredients "list" up-to-date to label the crockpot.

Never in a million years would I have thought to include a diet Dr. Pepper. NEVER. But, you are really making this seem like fun.
