Reverend Luther believed in the use of civil disobedience to follow a greater truth. As did his namesake from way back when. Both drew spiritual strength from a rather famous follower of this path. Maybe stretching it a bit, but it being MLKJr day, I kind of thought of that as an angle.
Or, I could write about the only time I've been arrested. OOh, kicked out of the state for 18 months! Practically run out of town on a rail.
Or, I could write about the only time I got into trouble in high school. Sentenced to hard labor too -- scrubbing graffiti is no easy task.
Or, I could write about fighting the administration led by our own personal Umbridge back in 2003. This was not a pretty time for any of us.
Or, I could write about no longer being under the law. Hmm. decisions, decisions...
So, yes, it's....

So we are made right with God through faith and not by obeying the law.
If God’s promise is only for those who obey the law, then faith is not necessary and the promise is pointless.
Yet we know that a person is made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ, not by obeying the law. And we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be made right with God because of our faith in Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. For no one will ever be made right with God by obeying the law.
That kind. :)
