He didn't kill the engine once. He navigated the slow turn at the end of the court well, but still made the car shudder a bit getting into first each time, and still have a rather jackrabbit-y jerky shifting style. Considering his amount of experience however, I think he's coming along fine.
Tonight, he was brave enough to park in the garage, next to Flar's car. We have an extra wide garage, so it's not as big a deal, but it does show the next step up in confidence for him.
