Routine Ramblings of an Occasionally Interesting Housewife

Up and At 'em
I drove Tigger to school this morning, and then deposited a check on the way home. This gave Flar a little extra sleeping time; he's now at the chiropractor.

Usually when I have to drive early, I can barely drag out of bed in time to leave, and easily crawl into bed when I get back home.

This morning, I was up early enough to shower before we left. On the way home, I was considering what a nice day it would be to walk Flood in the morning, but I don't have anything particularly interesting to listen to on the walk.

Instead, I came on home and ate breakfast. Now, often that is a drawn-out affair, but I ate, read the comics and did all the puzzles in record time. I was actually motivated to work. ooooh.

I've cleared all the laundry, dishes and recycling out of the bedroom, changed the bedding AND vacuumed. I'm sure by now that Flar will think I've become possessed. ;) Anyway, now I'll turn to laundry issues: Sorting dirty laundry, clearing off the folding platform jacuzzi top, and running laundry. Once that's all started, it'll be time to go out, as I've three errands on the way to car-line today.

Tates Creek branch of the library -- renew my library card and check out a book-on-CD for walking Flood.

CVS -- pick up two prescriptions for Flar

Post Office -- pick 50 2¢ stamps and 26 1¢ stamps (Yes, I keep second ounce/postcard stamps on hand)

Oh, no, I'm not possessed, it's avoidance: the pile of mail beside my keyboard is getting intimidating in height.
