housewifey day

Breakfast with small group at Panera. I was supposed to be there at 9:30. Flar wandered into the bedroom at 9:15 and asked "didn't your schedule say you were getting up at 8?" Got there by 9:45 with check to deposit and Sam's list in hand. Breakfast souffles were really more like quiche-filled croissants, but yummy. Hot chocolate was creamy goodness.

I was eligible to give blood back in July, but I've kept sliding that off my schedule, so today I went in, while they were still giving away penguins. Bonus, I'm also entered in sweepstakes for a trip to Florida and an iPod. The vampire had to stick both arms, and she was so apologetic about it. Worse, after I finished donating, I started feeling nauseous. I hate being so much trouble. But she raised my feet, put a cold washcloth across my neck and gave me sprite, and the feeling subsided. Yay.

After that I headed back south to deposit the check and pick up lunch to eat with Knight. mmm, Schlotzsky's. I also stopped at Wal-Mart for some goodies with the rest of my spare cash:
  • Car Coasters: made from absorbent stone, sized to fit inside cup holders. No more drippy cup holders for me. :)
  • Silly Buttons: I picked through all the choices and bought the set that had the most sayings I liked.
  • A Rainbow Coin Purse: that's not the right size for my misc. loyalty cards, so I'm taking it back next trip. I'll wait until I can get another StitchNZip.

After picnicking with Knight in bed, it was time to pick up Tigger. Then we went to Sam's Club for a typical run: water, Perrier, ravioli, Spam, popcorn, spaghetti sauce, meatballs and hamburger patties.

Now I have extra time at home, as I'm driving Critter to a party tonight; Flar's picking him up. Then I'll work until 3am, or when I run out of Dark Angel, whichever comes first.
