I brought all four with me, to refresh myself on the series before diving into the two that I just bought. I'm glad. I could remember much of the first book as I was reading it, almost scene for scene, but the second book seemed entirely new to me. The plot in the third seemed impossibly short -- if I didn't have to sleep I'd be through all four by now. :)
