Modified PJ Day

I got up early, fixed omelet breakfasts, then drove to the car-wash. I drove home with a very clean, still needing to dry-out, car, a sack of kibble and new di-icing stuff.

I then curled up for a nap that lasted from 11am through 4:30pm. Then I finished my book, aptly named.

7 Lost in a Good Book, by Jasper Fforde
6 Cravings, by Laurell K. Hamilton, MaryJanice Davidson, Eileen Wilks and Rebecca York
5 Ring of Fire, edited by Eric Flint
4 Dolly and the Starry Bird, by Dorothy Dunnett
3 Dolly and the Nanny Bird, by Dorothy Dunnett
2 The Eyre Affair: A Thursday Next Novel, by Jasper Fforde
1 Incubus Dreams: An Anita Blake Novel, by Laurel K. Hamilton

Now I'm watching Star Gates from last week (and possibly from this week, depending on how long it takes for me to run down), while moving housework gradually into the jacuzzi room. I've got the bedroom all picked up, next for the bathroom. At that point, I'll have what I need to sort and start the week's laundry. I've also got a bunch of clean laundry to sort and fold. Once I get to a "waiting for the machines" bit in the laundry, I'll update quicken (an intermediate quickie), then wash dishes.

By the time I go to bed, it'll be late, making the drive to the tournament tricky, but the house will be a comfy place to bring Hippychicx home to, and I'll be able to enjoy the time here together without being faced with everything I'm facing down tonight.
