Flar brought the paper to bed, and a plate of Krispy Kremes. Yum. After reading the comics, Dave Barry, Ann Landers, that new relationship advisor, and the front section of ne ws (never ran across the local section), and even after a refresh on the donuts (for a total of three), I was still hungry and out of reading material.
Flar then brought me cheese eggs and cinnamon raison toast and milk. And The Grass Crown. Okay, I'll admit it. Less than a full chapter of that was enough to spring me out of bed. Took back custody of The Reality Dysfunction later in the day. (I was in the middle of another book, with two in line, so loaned it to Flar to read first, but Critter "borrowed" it from him. Critter finished it today, so I'm reading it now.
But once I was up... email/LJ and listening to Tigger read his reading book and workbook were enough to occupy me until time to take Tigger to his best friend's birthday party.
After I got home, Critter played Robo Rally with me. I won, twice. The first time, in a three board/1 flag game of Robo Rally, Critter was still on the first board. We played again, and that time Critter got to the middle board. While we pl ayed, I stirred the chili that Flar made (he was napping), and then we cleaned out my mini-van.
We had the chili for dinner after Flar brought Tigger home from the birthday party.
Big Trouble is back out, in the dollar theatre, so we went to se e it today, and brought Barbar. I'm not sure she enjoyed it quite as much as we did, but it was just as funny the second time around.
And now we're going to read Tolkien before bedtime, for the third time in a row.
See. Lazy day. Tomorrow I rally the forces and get some real work done around here. :)ö
