More vacationing

I'm developing a tan. I've been to the pool twice with Mom and Tigger (and Critter went with us, one of those times), and I'm starting to show tan lines.

Yesterday, we went to Schlitterbahn. We set up camp (ie, dumped our towels and drinks with Granmommy) at a picnic table encircled by the Congo River lazy river. I rode about that circle a number of times with the boys, then marched up to the other end of the park (we were in Schlitterbahn East) to ride the Raging River. Not so raging, really, but fun.

We had pizza for dinner, then Mom and I read while the boys swam more.

Long day in the shady sun and water.

Slept well last night, albeit once again late.

Wolf said hi. Yes, relationship over, no, it's okay to contact him. Feel better and worse, I suppose no surprise.

Working on that worship thing. Woke up droopy, drank my DDP, read the bible, got perkier.

Today, we had breakfast at I-Hop and went to see the unusual goats.

My appetite's improving, darn the luck. ;)

I'm not so conversant with goats as to spot the unusual nature of the ones we saw today. They're bred in North Africa, not South. They were brown and white. Mostly nanny goats, one billy. One nanny goat liked to stand up on her back hooves to pull down pecan tree leaves. That was kind of cute.

They also had two Australian sheperds, one a part dingo mix.

On the way home, we got new flip-flops for Tigger. Orange patterns straps on black soles. Critter got a new pair of boxers and a new pair of pj bottoms. I got a geekier watch. Traded the stopwatch function for a calculator. Got home; took about 5 minutes of searching around online to find instructions to set it -- mine was missing the manual.

vegging now. will swim later.
