I stopped by the banks on the way home from school drop-off, so I decided to finish out the Rookettes packets first thing. I now have my messenger bag loaded with awards packets for members, as well as decorations for the banquet and other odds and ends. And bonus, I've already gotten the info for the regional secretary ready to mail.
I bought extra golden dollars when I was buying them for the Fun Day prizes, and I'm glad I did -- in two rolls of 50, I got 8 Susan B. Anthony coins. Which wouldn't ordinarily bother me, but these are all supposed to match.
I also bought a roll of quarters to make change when people pay for the banquet tomorrow. I was disappointed to learn that Florida quarters are in circulation in Chelona's neck of the woods, but I wasn't offered Florida quarters today. :(
I sorted laundry and have started two loads so far. I remembered to eat lunch, then dived right into the chess certificates. Found the old graphics file, modified the year and wording (some of the certificates are for Chess Team), and then searched for the sample signatures I got at the last tournament.
I scanned them in, then lifted just the sigs to add into the certificates. I heart select-by-color-range.
I haven't gotten around to washing the three dishes that are waiting, but the table is clean, the certificates are ready to print, cut & emboss, and the sample printing showed that once again they look hand-signed.
I haven't cracked the paper yet, but I caught up on mail and quicken yesterday, so I'm feeling pretty good on the house front.
Opman called to ask me to skip work again tonight. I thought about going by for my paycheck anyway, but I'm getting prize money tomorrow and working tomorrow night, so I can wait until Friday to cash my paycheck.
Bonus, that means I can finish the certificates tonight after the boys go to bed, as well as finish off the laundry. Sweet!
And now it's time to hie myself to school again.
With a stop at the party store along the way, to return the chocolate bunny that wandered into my bag yesterday.
