Restful Sunday

I slept in past noon. I did wake a couple times before then, but chose to sleep in, because I knew I needed catching up, and because I could.

I took Critter to Lowe's. He's been working on cleaning his room, so he wanted some storage tubs. Apparently, instead of working on his history paper. The rough draft is due tomorrow, and he was up until midnight working on it.

We also got a couple of bales of straw & patch mix for the muddy spots in the back yard; and a couple of lightbulbs. I installed those myself -- over my chair in the family room, and over my sink in the bathroom.

On the way home, we stopped at Ro's. Critter worked on his paper until his battery ran low, then watched TV. I played Gargon and Spooks with Ro and Talethmeril, who skunked us both soundly in Gargon. We played three rounds of Gargon, and only one round of Spooks, which Ro won. By then it was time to think of heading home.

I worked a bit on Catchup List stuff today, just dishes and mail and quicken. I edited the letters to the board and to the headmistress, and I've got my errands ready to go in the morning:

TLS - drop off the boys
Bank - deposit Flar's checks
Post Office - mail 5 bills and one registered letter.

Tomorrow I'll finish catching up with papers, coupons, the kitchen table, and laundry. I have a chat date with Sydb at 12:30. During my chat date, I need to work on Rookettes' year-end banquet stuff, and the chess club participation certificates.

And now to bed. Later than I'd hoped, but well prepared for the morning.
