Meanwhile, today I got up at 4:45am to drive folks to Louisville to catch their 9am Southwest flight. My dad likes to arrive early. After I dropped them off, I spent the day with Wolf and Roo and Sydb (in order by quantity, like ingredients labels - Sydb went out for some of the day). I got lots and lots of napping and cuddling and playtime, both the grown-up adult kind of playtime, and the 17 month old kind, mostly playing with Little People and my cell phone ringtones. I got to stay for two naps and two meals, and came home feeling very very happy and reconnected.
My plan was to get home in time to play toontown for an hour before Tigger's bedtime, and then online, and then sleep.
Then I was reminded by the radio that tonight was the scheduled landing for the first of the next two JPL Mars rovers. And when I got home, Critter was using Tigger's computer, probably to play Invisible Wars. So we made a new plan: Watch the tail end of the chowder cookoff, Watch Iron Chef, Play 30 minutes of ToonTown, and then find coverage of the rover landing.
I got to watch a few minutes of stream video on NASA TV, and then the tail end of an interview on CNN.
