Cookies and Ornaments; Sweets and Lights

It's time for another cookie baking party. This is an open-invitation party - feel free to pass the invitation along to anyone that you think might be interested in joining us. Kids are welcome. I'm a big believer in kids and Christmas baking. Since my parents will be here, there will be some additional help with little ones who need supervision.

As in the past, I will provide the oven, baking sheets, racks, a mixer and a relatively standard set of baking tools. I'll have a ready stock of standard ingredients (flour, sugar, etc.).

a recipe (yes, it's okay to bring ready-to-bake cookies)
- copies to send home with others, if you like
- blank recipe cards to copy recipes, if you like
any special ingredients (dates, chocolate chips, etc.)
a container to bring home an assortment of the cookies we bake at the party

The party will be on Saturday 20 December, starting at 3:00 pm. We will attempt to shoo people out the door starting at 10pm, depending on the progress of the baking. Even while school's out, I need some sleep every night. :)

If you are interesting in tree-trimming instead, Flar and the boys will be decorating our tree during the party. Please come help trim the tree.

Please let me know if you plan to be here.
