All Caught Up on a Monday

  • Mail
Until today's mail is brought in, of course.
  • Dishes
There were surprisingly few dishes from the weekend.
  • Paper
I read the Saturday, Sunday and Monday papers today.
  • Laundry
I washing a load of sheets right now, from the boys' beds. Everything else is sorted for them or put away.
  • Coupons
    I'll do this in car-line.

I was very sleepy when I came home from dropping the boys at school, so I lay down in my recliner for an hour nap. I woke up at 10:45am. Sigh. I suppose I needed the sleep, but this is why the days with actual deadlines get so frantic; because I blow off working on lighter days, in favor of sleeping.

I partly made up for it this afternoon, getting caught up with my current list, as well as unpacking from the weekend, organizing my purse, and writing up the gift certificates for chess club. I didn't get either kitchen or dining table organized, but I have the jacuzzi top almost clear. And I took a few minutes to put stickers on my new First U name tag. A rainbow fish and "I ♥ > 1" from the same rainbow sticker material.

Now I'm treating myself to reading email and LJ for the first time today, even though I blew off the whole morning napping. Slug.
