I made myself a peanut-potato-onion-garlic-green pepper and cheese omelet for breakfast, using my new omelet pan. Which is (tada!) as good as Wolf's good omelet pan. Yay!
I had to wash the omelet pan before using it the first time, so I went ahead and caught up on dishes. Then I sat down and read the paper. We were originally aiming at the 1pm showing of Good Boy! but I lost track of time while I was reading, so we decided on the 3:10pm showing instead.
Then I clipped and sorted this week's coupons, and decided to fold and put away the towels and sheets so that I could be officially caught up.
Taking Tigger and Critter to Good Boy! was the last birthday present to me out of my Granny money. Fitting, since my first birthday present to me was taking Wolf and Sydb to see Secondhand Lions. Start with a movie, finish with one.
The movie was fun, and one that we plan to obtain for the household DVD collection when it's published. A nice, sappy, family comedy.
When we got home, the boys asked for Chicken & Dumplings for dinner. Nothing like getting an enthusiastic request for something that's easy to make. After dinner, I sat down to read my email & catch up on LJ while watching Ocean's Eleven on the satellite.
Now it's time to read some of The Emerald City of Oz to the boys before getting back to work on the kitchen table.
