Another Drabble; this one is for Pshaw Raven


Althea loved making Bobby laugh. His eyes would crinkle up around the edges; his nose would jiggle up and down. Most of all, it was the sound, the musical giggles, trailing off into a breathless “I love you, Althea.” Until today. There wasn’t anything special about the colors or smells, it was the feel of the rich mud. He laughed at the sight of her, covered in it, but the magic stopped when she started tracing shapes on his bare, pale chest. She formed those strange shapes he made sometimes with his special stick. L..I..M..I..T..E..D..T..I..M..E O..N..L..Y He didn’t laugh. Bobby was gone.
