bundled up, walkabout, snow

Duval Street

The towel store was closed for vacation. If I have to order a towel online, I'm not using my Christmas loot on it. Especially since I can't decide between the pride towel with Key West end ribbons to replace mine which went missing, or a pride towel wrap -- women's length, or a conch republic flag or the one with the rainbow sun on a field of blue striped sky...

Which is probably just as well, since I've already bought a nifty rainbow windsock, a white cotton gauze shrug and a set of cotton wrap pants and matching halter (said halter being too small, for now). I've $31 left to spend tomorrow when we return. Knight bought me a beautiful matching set of rainbow bracelet and barrette from a gallery that was filled with beautiful things. They had a glass sculpture that has become my image of the bridge to Asgaard, and I think I've figured out how to make a humble imitation in sculpy. To use as a tealight holder, I think.

We also went to the KeyWest Aquarium and the Southernmost Point Buoy. I forgot to pack either my PC card adapter or my film reader, so pictures will have to wait until I return home.

We got a late start this morning, so tomorrow our plan is to get out much earlier. We're doing room service for breakfast, and going from there. I didn't get a chance to call Daddy back tonight about where to look for my birthplace, so I hope to call him tomorrow during breakfast.
