In Texas

We arrived only 26 hours late, give or take.

Knight and Ro were already at Papasito's with Olliesmama and son, so they took our order for us while we were in baggage claim. Dinner at Papasito's on the way home from the airport is traditional.

Going to bed soonest.

Christmas Eve

We had a very relaxing Christmas Eve. Tigger tried to wake me "to open Christmas Eve presents," but was disappointed to find out that Christmas Eve presents are opened in the Eve - ning. Ro and Knight came over while I was still eating breakfast. We stayed around the house, playing with the computer, surfing the satellite and napping, until it was time to get ready for the Christmas Eve service at church.

After the Christmas Eve service, Ro and Knight and I stopped at Walgreen's for last minute stocking stuffers. Then we all had dinner at Mom and Dad's: Brisket, potato salad, deviled eggs, garlic bread, salad, sautéd mushrooms and cookies.

After dinner we finally opened Christmas Eve presents: pjs (and one ornament). Then the boys scampered off to their room and Mom and I went to wrap the last of the presents. Now she's making the bubble loaf, and I'll be helping to stuff the stockings before we scoot to bed.
