bundled up, walkabout, snow

It's the little things that make life good

a light on at the back door, freshed baked cookies still on the cookie sheet, and a menu list ready to turn into a grocery list.

It doesn't hurt that sitting next to the menu list was a check to deposit. Which means bills to pay tomorrow evening, when I can double-check choices with Flar.

Work was smooth tonight.

Leftover Moo Shu from Sunday night, which I shared with Details, made for a festive mood, perfect for a work night before a mini-vacation.

Today I took the boys and dogs to the dog wash, washed dishes, update quicken and my PDA, chatted with Sydb (and bonus, Wolf -- who wasn't very chatty, as it was my chatdate with Sydb), finished a good book, and made a list of things to pack and things to do before I leave town on Wednesday.

I've verified with Flar and the boys that they can wait a week on laundry, so I don't have to figure out how to fit that in to a shortened week. Tomorrow I go bowling and then the regular errand run: Sam's, Allergist, Kroger, with a few extras thrown in, like the bank.

Sleep now. In the morning, I need to get up early enough to put together the shopping list and leave by 8:30am.

I slipped in a present Dizzy left in our bathroom, and twisted my ankle. It could have been worse; I didn't land on either of my knees

Today was a reasonable bowling/errand day. My team is currently in second to last place. We split with our opponents, today. In addition to the norm, I tracked down something to share with my spice, and deposited a check. Now all I've left to do before I leave town is pack, bathe/talk to Wolf, and print checks to pay some bills. I'm reading email and LJ while I rest my ankle.
