bundled up, walkabout, snow

Early morning

I made banana pancakes for breakfast this morning. And now I've a whole new issue of the newspaper to distract me from the bills paperwork lurking on the kitchen table.

I did two loads of laundry last night: one of work towels, because the dogs' blanket was getting yucky -- Flood was refusing to go in the crate; the other of dress shirts and pants and shorts, because Critter needed pants to wear today. He has three pairs of school pants that fit right now, and he didn't want to wear the ones that are for Fridays. The other two both needed washing.

I'm going to try not to let the idea of doing laundry early this week distract me from working on bills when I get back from dropping the boys off at school. Now, if I can read today's paper in 20 minutes, that'll take away my other distraction. :)

Enough fun for one morning.

I spent the morning working on bills. Did a bunch of Quicken updating, and figured out an account transfer and a bunch of checks to write. Enough of that fun.

Now I'm ready to eat lunch, wash dishes, and fold towels, to keep essentially stay caught up on the bits of household that *are* under control. :)

I thought I was caught up on coupons, but I found a huge pile of them hiding out in the dining room. So I still have much clipping to do, before I can get to re-ordering the categories to match the new Kroger layout, and then sort them into my coupon envelope. Ah well, continuing carline entertainment.

At least I tackled the bills for a bit. I'm planning to continue working on bills in the mornings until they're under control.
