Morning

A test and a list

i'm in ravenclaw!
be sorted @ nimbo.net

I woke up with a headache this morning, but it's gone away. Alavert has taken away the coughing at bedtime, but it wears off before morning (I've been taking it at breakfast-time), and working outside meant more allergens yesterday. I think I'll be fine after I shower, though.

Didn't get the work towels folded and put away last night. I'm going to tackle that before my shower.

The list:

    Monday - Pink
    Tuesday - Orange

Afternoon update

I had a so-so day at bowling. I bowled 115, 114 & 159, but our team took 3 out of 4 points, so that wasn't too shabby. I readied new receipt slips for Prez and gave her the collections envelopes before she left.

Errands were frustrating. Jo-Ann's didn't have waste cloth, and I didn't wait for the clerk to free up, to ask her if the floss was really $2.19 apiece. Wal-Mart's price is 28 cents.

At the Stitch Niche, she said that DMC is having problems with some of their colors running. But I'd already bought most of my floss, so I'm not interested in switching to Anchor at this point. I didn't ask about price. I came up with a small project ot keep me busy on vacation. They were selling beaded counted cross-stitch projects. I like the idea of adding beads to the top of my cloak trim, but I don't know how easy/hard I would find working with the beads. So I bought a kit. It will serve double duty, as a short project for the trip, and as a test of the craft to see if I like it.

I feel like I keep putting off working on the cloak. But when it's done, it will be gorgeous. At least, that's the plan.

Grace and I are the banquet committee for Tuesday Tigers. We haven't done any planning yet, so we're gong to get together over lunch (here) tomorrow, to see what we can figure out.
