Sunday summary

Wrote a big long emotional catharsis private thingie, and almost forgot to write about my day for like, you know, everybody else.

Lessee, wrote about the morning. Never got back to cleaning bathrooms. Went to The Italian Job. Knight and Ro treated. Thank You!! It was an absolutely wonderful treat. I loved it. So much of it made me laugh with joy at the screen, as much as humor, really.

Came home to make chili-mac for a quick dinner, then next on the docket was cherry pie -- Flar and Critter picked cherries at Bébé's this morning, and then casserole-of-the-week: King Ranch Chicken. Only, I got distracted by a phone call from Wolf. I'd been missing him, quite unreasonably, today, while I was avoiding calling him during his date with Hippychicx. Phone call was long, good, hard, deep. needed.

Then I fought with the pie crust. Turns out I'd misremembered the shortening and put in twice what was needed, so I made double-double pie crust by adding in enough flour. Then I plotted with Flar how to avoid cooking until Tuesday, since tomorrow looks horribly busy.

The pie is almost done in the oven. It smells heavenly. Fresh cherries, sugar, quick-cooking tapioca, and Amaretto, because I couldn't find any almond extract.

And, in a new feature appearing this week, with each journal entry:

How my Master shows that He loves me:

Master shows me He loves me by calling me, even when He has only a moment of time to give me, because He had the moment and chose to give it to me.

Just because He loves me.

My day started this way. I am blessed.
