The sleepover, part one

Small turnout. And that's probably a good thing.

I picked up three kids along with Critter and Tigger today: Sa, Si & W, so had lunch duties once I got them home. They watched TV a bit, then played outside, then went upstairs to use the playstation.

One girl, Sa. One who likes playing with boys, and doesn't seem lost at the prospect of no other girls at the party. She spent the early part of the party chasing Si with a nerf gun.

We were joined by other players while the party was in progress: Ty, B, A & Te, and had to lose two to not staying overnight: Si & B. I hate falling back on initials, but I don't feel up to nicking them all.

Through the course of the evening, we had nerf battles, Giant Slug Beasts, jacuzzi, pizza for dinner, Life, Money and Aquarius. More playstation, Star Trek, and a Christmas video tape. (I don't remember the title, as I didn't know we had it.)

Sa has the Lincoln room to herself. A crashed in Critter's room with the lights all on (his normal habit at these things), and Te & Critter have closeted themselves in there by now, as well. Tigger & W & Ty are watching the above-mentioned video tape as they go to sleep, in the playroom. Flar is going to check in on them on his way to bed.

I'm beat. I won the three round of Money, but it was a close thing; Sa had an early lead that looked hard to beat. I also won Aquarius, but the goals changed so often that game was totally up for grabs. B won the game of Life.

Tomorrow will tell how insane I was, planning this party to last until 6pm.
