The rest of my afternoon was fairly lazy. I've read myself to sleep again, reading Ozma of Oz to the boys, so I'm turning in early, especially for a Saturday night.

    • Sorted mail
    • Entered receipts, checks and deposits
    • Gave new figures to Flar for decisions about what to pay
    • Balanced checkbook
  • Typed up grade reports commentary for Flar to read before conferences on Friday; emailed to him
  • Mailed Tigger's thank you notes
  • Shopped for Knight's birthday
  • Replaced the missing DVD remote control with a relatively cheap 6 Device Home Theatre Remote Control
  • Found the codes for the TV, VCR, DVD & RCVR
    our satellite receiver uses radio frequency; didn't bother with it
  • Wrapped birthday presents
  • Made filling
  • Baked a birthday cake
  • Made frosting
  • Dropped car off at AutoTech
  • Bowled
  • Sam's
  • Allergist
  • Moved car from AutoTech to Powers
    Not the one close to home - the AutoTech guy recommended another one
  • Borrowed the station wagon from Bébé
  • Took frosting out to return to room temperature
  • Frosted birthday cake
  • Embellished a birthday card
  • Went to Knight's birthday party
  • Partially organized Stampin' Up supplies
  • Phone call with Wolf
  • Phone call with Binky
  • Called AAA to order a trip tik
  • Laundry:
    • Sorted dirty loads
    • Cleaned jacuzzi top
    • Dumped last week's clean laundry onto jacuzzi top
    • Cleaned floor of laundry room
    • Sorted clean clothes
      There's one shirt I'm not sure about
      It was Tigger's
    • Folded & put away linens & towels
    • Kept pace with 9 loads of laundry
    • Fold & put away my clothes
    • Fold Flar's clothes
  • Tidied jacuzzi room
  • Read about Home Theatre feature on Universal Remote
  • Checked on car; it's likely to be there until Wednesday.
    Got out Tigger's bowling ball, bowling records, coupons, garage door opener, Chiclets and phone charger
  • Grocery Shopping
  • Printed bowling forms
  • Played Scrabble with Wolf & Sydb & Canuckgirl
  • Listened to the presidential address about the war

  • Cleared kitchen table
  • Bowled
  • Replaced earbud for cell phone
  • Drove to Louisville
  • Got frustrated, trying to connect to Wolf's router
    Decided to write offline
  • Bought new canvas shoes at K-Mart
  • Surprised Wolf at work
  • Treated Wolf to dinner for Steak & Blow Job day
  • Got whomped in Scrabble with Wolf & Sydb & Canuckgirl
  • Updated chess database
  • Wrote email to Coach regarding year-end stuff for chess
  • Lunch with Wolf & Sydb at CPK, Yum!
  • Drove back to Lexington
  • School conferences
  • Date night with Knight, on our Kissiversary
    we went to Chili's for dinner and saw Catch Me If You Can
  • Take Tigger to last week of bowling
    banquet is in three weeks
  • Mailed Black Knights vest to Canada
  • Left Critter's cornet at music store, for a chem. flush
  • Forgot to go by optician to get Tigger's glasses fixed
    Tigger says he can get by with tape longer
  • Bought beanies at Toys R Us
  • Caught up on Live Journal
  • Got whomped a couple of times at chess with Wolf
    At least in Scrabble, there's the random factor introduced by letter tiles
  • Took Tigger to his birthday party
  • Played Scrabble with Canuckgirl
  • Picked Tigger up
  • Read to the boys
    Which never fails, of late, to make me sleepy
  • Write email to chess parents regarding year-end thank you gift for Coach
