So, I really liked starting the week with a list, and updating the entry as I went along. I felt productive and got to talk about it and look at it. And then live journal started acting up on me, and I remember editing an entry after 5:43pm yesterday, but it never showed up. Sigh. Maybe I never clicked on "edit entry" after all? Maybe it just got ignored.

Even though I still have bills to deal with, at least they aren't cluttering up space, being filed neatly away in a folder. I didn't get back to them last night after dinner, because I was getting together the various things to print to send with the Biker Boyz stuff. I think it took at least 10 minutes to transfer the print documents over to the computer with the printer. And cause I got really sleepy.

Today I'm slightly frustrated, because I have everything ready to mail to one of the auction winners, except for one vest which Flar loaned to friends who were at a leather event this weekend. Ro (who ran the auction) said it would be okay, but the buyer has paid for his auction, and here I am, waiting for Flar to track down the vest so I can mail it. simmer simmer

Knight drove to bowling this morning, after waiting for me to put together the printouts. I bowled great, over my average for two games in a row, then just under my average, and we won all four points: the last two games by the last frame. He drove me on my errands for the day and treated me to lunch at Popeye's. But we didn't have time to get groceries and unload them before picking up the boys, so he dropped me off at home, and I got a short break.

Now it's time to head out to carline, with a detour past the cleaners and the grocery on the way home. And woo hoo! a stop on the way, to deposit a check. (But not the one I've been waiting on since November.)

The trip will go a little faster with Critter operating his calculator independently, and the boys will be along to remember anything we've left off the list. Which means I need to bring in the coupon envelope, rather than just the ones I already know I'll be using. ;)

Dinner tonight: King Ranch Chicken. I've got the chicken thawing in the microwave (to best keep it away from Flood, who is currently inside), and that should help make up for getting home a little later.

I'm surprised Ro said it was ok to loan out something listed on ebay. Anything I list does not leave the house and doesn't get used once it's listed. As far as I'm concerned, as soon as it hits ebay, it's not mine anymore.

I hope nothing happened to the vest and Flar gets it back soon...

BTW, this sounds like I was criticizing Ro. I didn't mean for it to sound that way.

On another subject, you've obviously taken all the productivity between the two of us today. ;) I'm going to attempt to take enough back to at least get the groceries put away before Wolf gets home, which is one of the two things he asked me to do (and he said I didn't have to do both, though both would be cool). So far, all I've managed to do housework-wise is get a load of laundry into the dryer. :P

Since you try for a load-a-day, doing that load is a significant task: Don't diminish it. :) I'd hate dealing with laundry every day.

It's usually not difficult to steal the productivity back from me in the evening. I generally turn into a lump after dinner. In fact, I didn't get around to cooking the chicken and looking around for the recipe until after I read to Tigger and sent him to bed. Sigh.

Of course, at the time I said that most of the vests hadn't reached the reserve price and wouldn't be selling... *sigh* Ah well.

Of course, also technically, the vests aren't mine - they're Erosul's, and Flar is the President of the company (and also a client), so if he thinks the stuff is okay to lend out, who'm I to quibble? ;) And wouldn't you know that the vest that he decides to lend out is one of the ones that sells... *sigh* : P

Yes, I understand. On the other hand, if anything had happened to the vest, that could have turned out messily.

I don't have any experience using ebay. What are the guidelines/commitments regarding speed of delivery after payment?

Yesterday was the first possible shipping date, and today is when we'll be shipping lots 1&8, so I shouldn't be upset.

But I didn't like the not knowing part. I never do.

You and I are more conservative than Flar, and Ro considered his wishes as Prez of Erosul.

What he really wanted, was to be able to sell one of the vests to G, without G having to bother with the auctions. Which is why the next round of auctions have "buy now" buttons on them.

The vest is fine, and we'll be shipping it out today.

That's kind of what I was thinking was going on. :)
